The staff, board, and volunteers of Catholic Charities – Diocese of Tyler received the 2021 Bishop Charles E. Herzig Humanitarian Award. They were recognized for sharing the mercy and compassion of Jesus Christ with those in need in East Texas. Kathy Shieldes Harry, Executive Director of Catholic Charities, accepted the award on behalf of her organization.
